Progress!

Yesterday Dr Chow greeted me with happy full term! Then after my exam exclaimed I am officially 1 cm dilated! Progress feels good. I have been feeling much more uncomfortable a night but progress makes it all worth while. This am I had my first real contraction. It was painful and lasted about 20 seconds. It felt much better once I remembered to breath. I haven't had any since so I guess it was just more practice. Today we are heading down to Faribault to Joan and Glen's cabin. They only live about 45 minutes away from te hospital so we feel pretty safe to go. Albeit, we do have the car packed with our hospital bags and the car seat it place. Hope the weather is nice.
