The computer room is gone, Bring on the baby's room

My homemade valance rods turned out great!

We had the baby's room painted this weekend.  Once it was finished, we couldn't help but start getting the room ready.  However, before the fun could begin we had to take down the christmas decorations and the tree.  Then it was on!
Above the crib we will put the baby's name

First, Matt put the valances up.  Then, I decided to wrap the valance rods so they matched the room.  We brought in the pillows that used to go on our bed since they matched.  We will have to remove them once the baby comes but for now they are so cute.

Next, Matt moved the computer downstairs into the guest bedroom and brought down the dresser.  I thought that was all we were going to do but Matt had other plans.

We went to the 7:00 movie, "THe Social Network."It was a nice distraction.  Once home, Matt decided to finish bringing down the rest of the office furniture.  At midnight we finally went to bed.

After church and brunch at Panara Bread with out young adult group, we picked up the crib and Matt put it together.   I then made the crib up just for show.  It was fun!

We dismantled the old TV stand and took the TV to be recycled.  We also donated our leather chair.  Now all we have left is our old student desk.  Luckily, the Raatz's son would like to have it.  It is sitting out in the garage ready to be picked up next week.  It is nice to see things being reused instead of being put in a landfill.

Now, it is time to relax.  Desperate Housewives just started.  I am ready to veg.
